Home automation installers
for the East Midlands.
Lighting, heating, cinema, audio, blinds, security and energy — designed together, wired properly and running on one system instead of seven apps. We're a Loxone Silver Partner with four directly employed engineers, covering Nottingham, Derby, Sheffield, Mansfield, Chesterfield and Lincoln. Free site visit, fixed written quote within 5 working days, and no subscription ever.

What home automation actually means
Not remote control. Real automation.
Most 'smart home' products give you remote control — you still have to tell the heating to come on, tell the lights to dim, tell the blinds to close. That's just inconvenience moved to your phone.
Loxone runs logic. Lights adjust to natural light levels without you touching anything. Heating turns on when your phone approaches home. Blinds close before the sun overheats the room. The house does what you would have done, before you need to.
One Miniserver controls every electrical system in the house — lighting, audio, heating, blinds, access control, energy management — from one app, free for every household member, with no monthly subscription, ever.

What we install
Seven systems. One Miniserver. No subscriptions.
Most customers start with one or two of these and extend later. Because it's all one platform, adding the next system is programming rather than a second installation.
CCTV
Professionally sited IP camera systems across the East Midlands. Recording stays on your property, footage is actually usable at night, and there is no per-camera cloud subscription.
From £1,400 ex-VAT →Energy & EV
Energy monitoring, solar self-consumption, EV charge scheduling and tariff-aware load shifting across the East Midlands. See where it goes, then stop it going there.
From £2,200 ex-VAT →Home cinema
Dedicated cinema rooms, media rooms and garden-room cinemas across the East Midlands. Screen, sound, seating, lighting and blackout designed together — then wired, calibrated and handed over working.
From £6,450 ex-VAT →Network & cabling
Cat6 structured cabling, designed Wi-Fi coverage and tidy comms racks across the East Midlands. The unglamorous layer that decides whether everything else in the house actually works.
From £1,600 ex-VAT →Garden lighting
Exterior lighting design and installation across the East Midlands. Layered, properly dimmed and automated on sunset — so the garden becomes somewhere you actually look at in the evening.
From £2,100 ex-VAT →Blinds & shading
Motorised blinds, curtains and external shading across the East Midlands. Wired where it matters, integrated with lighting and heating, and automated on sun position rather than a clock.
From £1,850 ex-VAT →Multiroom audio
Whole-house audio across the East Midlands. Architectural ceiling and in-wall speakers, proper amplification in a cupboard, and music that follows you room to room without a single visible box.
From £2,600 ex-VAT →Smart lighting
Whole-house lighting control across the East Midlands. Proper dimming, RGBW colour, scenes that suit how the room is used, and daylight tracking — wired in, not plugged in.
From £3,200 ex-VAT →Heating & climate
Per-room temperature control across the East Midlands. Zoned radiators and underfloor heating, presence-based setbacks and weather compensation — so you stop heating empty rooms.
From £2,900 ex-VAT →Security & access
Keyless entry, video doorbells, CCTV and alarm integration running locally on one system. No per-camera cloud fees, no separate app for every device, and it keeps working when the broadband doesn't.
From £2,400 ex-VAT →Beyond the standard family home
Some buildings need a different specification.
Building work
Extensions
Automation designed into an extension across the East Midlands — specified while the steel is in and the walls are open, and joined properly to the house you already have.
From £4,500 ex-VAT →New builds
Automation for new build homes across the East Midlands — what to get your developer to run before plaster, what to do when they say no, and how to specify it without voiding your warranty.
From £5,500 ex-VAT →Barn conversions
Automation specified into barn and agricultural conversions across the East Midlands. Caught at first fix, the infrastructure costs a fraction of retrofitting it — and the buildings that need it most are the hardest to retrofit later.
From £12,000 ex-VAT →Annexes
Automation for annexes and multigenerational homes across the East Midlands — independent heating, access and control for the annexe, with one system, one app and one set of bills behind it.
From £6,000 ex-VAT →Property types
Period & listed
Automation for period and listed properties across the East Midlands. Routed through existing voids, switched with sympathetic hardware, and specified around what the building and its consents will actually allow.
From £9,000 ex-VAT →Accessible living
Smart home technology specified for accessibility across the East Midlands — voice and app control, automatic lighting, safe heating limits and discreet monitoring that supports independence rather than replacing it.
From £3,400 ex-VAT →Pool & spa
Pool, spa and sauna control across the East Midlands — plant, cover, heating, humidity and lighting on one system, with the running cost visible instead of assumed.
From £7,500 ex-VAT →Lets & commercial
Holiday lets
Self-check-in, expiring guest codes, energy limits and remote monitoring for short-term lets across the East Midlands. Stop driving over with keys and stop paying to heat an empty property.
From £1,950 ex-VAT →Landlords & HMO
Keyless entry per tenant, bounded heating, void-period protection and remote visibility across a portfolio. Built for properties where you pay the bills and someone else adjusts the thermostat.
From £2,200 ex-VAT →Commercial
Lighting control, HVAC scheduling, access control and energy monitoring for small commercial buildings across the East Midlands. The functionality of a building management system, without the maintenance contract.
From £4,500 ex-VAT →New to this? Start with what home automation actually is. Comparing suppliers? Read the ten questions to ask any installer and our honest comparison of the major systems — including the ones we don't sell.

Why Loxone, not a hub system
Wired is more reliable. One system is simpler. No subscription is cheaper.
No cloud dependency
Loxone runs entirely locally. If your broadband drops, every light, speaker, blind and door lock keeps working.
No monthly subscription
The Loxone app is free for every member of the household, permanently. No per-device fees, no gateway subscriptions.
Wired reliability
Loxone Tree cable carries power and data together. No Wi-Fi dropouts. No interference. No battery-change reminders.
One app for everything
Lighting, heating, audio, security, blinds — one Loxone app, not six separate manufacturer apps.
How to get started
Three ways in. Same Loxone system.
Home automation isn't a single product — it's a platform you scale to your project. Pick the route that matches yours; each links through to a dedicated service page.

Why a certified installer matters
85% of a Loxone install is software. That's where a Silver Partner earns their keep.
Loxone hardware is excellent, but it's the programming — scene authoring, automation logic, system integration — that makes a home feel genuinely automated. Any electrician can run the cable. Only a certified Loxone partner can commission it properly.
Westgate has four Loxone-trained engineers. Every install is pre-staged at our Mansfield Woodhouse workshop, commissioned on site by a named director, and signed off with a 14-day post-install check. We never sub-contract.
