Loxone garden rooms, common questions

How much does a Loxone garden room installation cost?

Three fixed tiers: Soft Upgrade from £3,995 ex-VAT, Lite Upgrade from £6,450 ex-VAT, Plus Upgrade from £9,995 ex-VAT. All prices cover supply, installation, programming, commissioning and a 14-day post-install check. VAT is charged at 20%.

Does Loxone have a monthly subscription fee?

No. Loxone runs entirely locally from the Miniserver installed in your garden room. There is no monthly subscription, no cloud dependency, and no data leaves your property unless you enable remote access. The system keeps working even without an internet connection.

How long does a Loxone garden room installation take?

Install time is 2 days for the Soft Upgrade, 3.5 days for Lite Upgrade, and 5 days for the Plus Upgrade. We pre-stage the Miniserver and Tree extensions at our Mansfield workshop before arriving on site, which reduces install time by ~30%. Lead time from deposit to install start is 3–6 weeks.

What areas in the East Midlands do you cover?

NG (Nottingham, Mansfield, Hucknall, Kirkby), DE (Derby, Belper, Ashbourne), S1–S26 (Sheffield, Chesterfield, Worksop) and LN1–LN6 (Lincoln). All installations are carried out by Westgate's own Loxone-certified engineers, we do not sub-contract.

What does the warranty cover?

Every install includes a 12-month parts and labour warranty from sign-off. Loxone hardware carries an additional 24-month manufacturer warranty. An optional annual Care plan (£180 or £360/year) is available after Year 1.

Can I upgrade tier later?

Yes. Within 24 months of install you can upgrade for the price difference plus a fixed re-commissioning fee. We pre-cable the room so a future upgrade is non-destructive.

Do I need to be a Loxone customer already?

No. Most of our customers have never used Loxone before. Part of the install is a 30-minute customer handover, by the end, you'll be confident running scenes, music and heating from a Touch panel or your phone.
