We review architect drawings and recommend Loxone-friendly cabling, panel locations and 1st-fix preparation.

M&E spec

We supply a Loxone M&E spec your contractor can build to, every room, every circuit, every Tree node.

Pre-stage build

Miniserver, Tree extensions and panels configured at our workshop before site arrival. Cuts on-site time by ~30%.

Install & commission

Loxone self-build, architect & builder questions

When in the build should we engage you?

Ideally at RIBA Stage 3–4 (developed design / technical design). The earlier you bring us in, the more we can engineer Loxone-friendly cabling into the M&E spec. We can also retrofit, it just costs more.

Do you work directly with our architect and main contractor?

Yes. We hand your contractor a Loxone M&E spec they can build to, room by room, circuit by circuit, Tree node by Tree node. We attend site meetings during 1st fix and again at 2nd fix.

How does pricing work?

Scope-priced. After drawing review and a site visit we issue a fixed quote with optional add-ons. Typical East Midlands new build with full Loxone (lighting, heating, audio, security, blinds) is £25k–£45k ex-VAT.

Will the system work without internet?

Yes. The Miniserver runs entirely locally. Internet is only needed for remote access, weather data and software updates. No subscription, no cloud lock-in.

Can you specify solar / battery / EV charger integration?

Yes. Loxone coordinates solar generation, battery storage and EV charging, running high-draw appliances when energy is cheap or self-generated. We have referenceable installs on rural NG / DE properties.
