Loxone across the East Midlands
One Silver Partner. Four counties. No sub-contracting.
The East Midlands is the only UK region where a single Loxone Silver Partner can credibly cover four counties from one base. Westgate's Mansfield Woodhouse workshop is within a one-hour drive of Nottingham, Derby, Sheffield, Lincoln and Chesterfield — and on the doorstep of the Peak District fringe, the Derbyshire Dales and the Lincolnshire Wolds. Same-week site visits run across NG, DE, S1–S26, S40–S45 and LN1–LN6. Most enquiries get a fixed written quote within five working days of the site visit.
Silver Partner status and all-Loxone-trained engineers are not common in the region. Other East Midlands smart-home installers typically combine third-party kit (Hue, Hive, Sonos, Ring) into a patchwork system that depends on multiple cloud servers and monthly subscriptions. Westgate installs Loxone only — one Miniserver, one app, no subscription, no cloud dependency. Every engineer on site is Loxone-trained; we do not sub-contract first or second fix to general electricians.
A whole-house Loxone installation in the East Midlands typically integrates lighting scenes (including RGBW colour), per-room heating and climate zones, electric blinds and curtains, Multiroom Audio, video door entry, CCTV, NFC keyless entry, EV charger management and solar / battery coordination. Everything runs locally on the Miniserver — if your broadband drops, the house keeps working. This local-first operation is particularly important for rural Derbyshire and Lincolnshire properties where satellite or 4G is the only practical connection.
Garden-room automation is the fastest-growing enquiry across the region. NG2 (West Bridgford) and NG12 (Edwalton) lead the Nottingham catchment; S10 (Ranmoor) and S11 (Ecclesall) lead the Sheffield catchment; Mickleover and Allestree lead in Derby; and Brampton and Walton in Chesterfield. A Loxone Miniserver installed in a garden room runs identically to one in a whole house — the system scales without replacing hardware, so customers regularly extend automation into the main property within 12–24 months.
Pricing is always fixed-quote, never day-rate. Garden-room packages are £3,995–£9,750 ex-VAT across the three tiers. A 3-bed East Midlands retrofit with lighting, audio and climate control typically falls between £15,000 and £22,000 ex-VAT. Large detached homes — Mapperley Park, The Park Estate, Dore, Ranmoor, Darley Abbey — with full lighting, audio, climate, blinds and security generally land in the £25,000–£45,000 range. New-build M&E specs are priced by property size and start from £25,000 ex-VAT for whole-house coverage at drawing stage.
Response times scale by sub-region. Mansfield and the immediate NG18–NG21 area get same-week visits and the shortest lead times — typically two weeks from deposit to install start. Nottingham and Chesterfield are typically within one week for a site visit. Sheffield, Derby and Lincoln are typically within two weeks. Every East Midlands installation is delivered by Westgate's own Loxone-trained directors and engineers, pre-staged at the Mansfield Woodhouse workshop, commissioned on site by a named director, and signed off with a free 14-day post-install check.
