Pricing & packages — common questions

What does a Loxone package include?

Every Westgate fixed-price package covers hardware supply, installation labour, programming, commissioning, a 30-minute customer handover, and a 14-day post-install check-in. There are no hidden extras — cable, consumables and design time are all included in the stated price.

Are the prices ex-VAT or inc-VAT?

All listed prices are ex-VAT (20% VAT applies). The inc-VAT price is shown alongside each package. Most residential customers can claim back VAT if purchasing through a new build or renovation project — speak to your accountant.

Can I upgrade from one tier to a higher one later?

Yes. You can upgrade within 24 months of sign-off for the price difference between tiers, plus a fixed re-commissioning fee. The Miniserver you already own is reused — you only pay for the additional hardware and programming.

How much does whole house Loxone automation cost?

Whole house retrofits are scope-priced from £15,000 ex-VAT for a 3–4 bed property. New builds and self-builds, where Loxone is specified at M&E stage, start from £25,000 ex-VAT. Both include full design, hardware, installation, programming, commissioning and 12-month warranty.

What deposit is required to book an installation?

A 30% deposit secures your hardware order and install dates. The second payment of 40% is due on completion of first fix, and the final 30% is due at handover. All payment terms are written into your quote.

Is there a monthly subscription for Loxone?

No. Loxone runs entirely locally from the Miniserver on your property. The app is free for every household member, permanently. There is no subscription, no cloud gateway fee, and no mandatory maintenance plan.
