Indoor pools · Hot tubs · Saunas · Swim spas
A pool is the biggest single load in the house. It should be the best controlled.
Pool, spa and sauna control across the East Midlands — plant, cover, heating, humidity and lighting on one system, with the running cost visible instead of assumed.
Most domestic pools run on a plant room full of separate controllers that were commissioned once and never revisited: a pump on a mechanical timer, a heater with its own thermostat, a dehumidifier doing whatever it decides, and a cover that somebody has to remember. Each part works. Together they routinely cost two or three times what they need to.
What's included
- Survey of existing plant, controls and interlocks
- Variable-speed pump scheduling and low-speed running
- Water heating control with cover position in the logic
- Cover automation to the manufacturer's interlock requirements
- Humidity, dew point and air temperature logging in the pool hall
- Dehumidification and ventilation driven by the readings
- Sauna, steam and hot tub control on the same app
- Circuit-level metering of pump, heat and dehumidification

01 · The plant room
One system instead of five arguing
Pump, heater, cover, dosing, lighting and dehumidification brought onto one controller, with schedules that account for each other rather than running blind.
The pump drops to low speed outside swim windows instead of running flat out all day. The heater does not fight a cover that is already open. The sauna heats on a schedule you set from the same app as everything else.
- Variable-speed pump control with real schedules
- Cover position in the heating decision
- Sauna and steam on the same platform
- Dosing and filtration monitored, not assumed

02 · Humidity
The pool hall is what damages the building
An indoor pool is a humidity problem with water in it. Get the dew point wrong and the damage shows up in the structure, the glazing reveals and the decoration long before anyone notices the reading.
Continuous humidity and temperature logging in the hall, tied to dehumidification and ventilation, is the difference between a room that lasts and one that quietly rots behind the finishes.
- Humidity and dew point logged continuously
- Dehumidification and ventilation driven by the reading
- Water and air temperature managed together
- Alerts when the hall drifts out of range

03 · Running cost
Visible instead of assumed
A pool is usually the single largest electrical load on a domestic supply, and almost nobody can tell you what it costs — because it is buried in one bill with everything else.
Circuit-level monitoring separates pump, heat and dehumidification, so the biggest number is identifiable and shiftable: heating on cheap-rate windows, plant running on surplus solar, and cover closing automatically when nobody is swimming.
- Pump, heat and dehumidification metered separately
- Heating shifted to cheap-rate or surplus solar
- Automatic cover close on the largest heat loss
- Air-source and heat pump integration
What we do and do not take responsibility for
We control plant. We are not pool engineers and we do not take responsibility for water chemistry, filtration sizing or the safety compliance of a cover or pool enclosure. Where a cover is automated we work to the manufacturer's interlock requirements and leave the manual override in place.
If your pool has an existing plant controller that works well, we will often integrate with it rather than replace it. We will tell you which of the two is the better value on the day.
Why it's worth doing properly
Pool, Spa & Sauna Automation, done once and done right.
The biggest load, finally measured
Pump, heat and dehumidification metered separately, so the largest number in the house stops being a mystery.
Plant that stops fighting itself
Heater, cover, pump and dehumidifier on one controller, with schedules that account for each other.
Protects the building fabric
Continuous humidity and dew point logging catches the drift that damages structure and decoration.
Heat on the cheap window
Shift water heating to off-peak rate or surplus solar. On a load this size the difference is substantial.
Cover closes on its own
The single largest heat loss on an indoor pool is an open cover nobody remembered. Automate it once.
One app, wellness included
Sauna, steam and hot tub on the same system as the pool, the lighting and the rest of the house.
